Mercedes-Benz EQB

How it looks when you see on the street: The sensible, easy-going small SUV has a wagonesque form, and a whole lot of curb appeal as the first electric SUV Mercedes offers in the U.S. market.

How it makes you feel when you get in: We’ve been inside the EQB twice and so far we like this modest luxury offering. It has the bonus of a third row, which sets it apart from other vehicles in its class, giving a modest third row and seating for seven.

How it drives: It’s not the most powerful offering — it floats along at an even place. It has a range of 260 miles, and will eventually be available with a long range battery. For most weekly trips, 260 miles will cover it. A year of Mercedes Me Charging is included.

How much does it cost: EQB starts at $55,550.
