How it looks when you see it on the street: The new F-Pace has character starting with its definitive grille, which already sets it apart from the sea of vehicles in the small crossover range, as seen in James Bond “No Time To Die.”

How it makes you feel when you get in: F-Pace’s interior is dolled up and refreshed for the 2021 model year, and beyond. It’s a comfortable well-appointed ride. While the infotainment system is brighter and bigger, it’s many operations can at time feels distracting, but this is a universal truth as automakers experiment with the shelf-life of digital clusters.

How it drives: It has a powerful, get-there-in-a-hurry character.

Space for people and things: The F-Pace is super roomy on the inside and a family four fits with plenty of elbow room for all on board.

Best Features: The interior trim stands out, the integration of metal with the smooth Jaguar crest is sharp and classy. Other high marks includes standard safety tech such as blind-spot monitoring system. We loved the Meridian stereo.

What should you compare it to: Porsche Cayenne, Alfa Romeo Stelvio. It’s not the average SUV.

How much does it cost: $73,420 with black exterior package, head-up display, and adaptive cruise control as options on top of the $59395 base price.
