Infiniti QX60

How it looks when you see on the street: The Infiniti QX60 upgraded its looks in 2022. The exterior is fresh faced, as the chainlink grille looks more in control and stately in this mid-sized SUV. We like the optimistic shade of moonbow blue on our test ride.

How it makes you feel when you get in: Inside the QX60 has clever solutions for storage. We differ to the singer, Esnavi who keyed in on the cabin accoutrements during her ride. “The massaging seats and wireless Apple CarPlay were also a plus. We both were also really impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the interior.” Safety tech such as Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection are great to have in an SUV, where visibility can be an issue.

How it drives: Smoothness and comfort are popular descriptions of the XC60 ride. It has a singular engine — a 295-hp V-6 engine. The nine-speed transmission delivers breezy gear shifts.

Space for people and things: It passes the three row test, offering seating for six or seven, depending on the trim level selected. We tested out the model that has the cabin chairs kids prefer so they don’t have to elbow each other.

What makes it stand out: One cool option is the three-zone system complete with an air purifier.

How much does it cost: Our ride was $63,250, as most features were standard including second row heated cabin chairs.
