Nissan Pathfinder

How it looks on the street: Large and in charge. Space is the selling point of the current generation of the three-row Nissan Pathfinder, which was introduced in 2022, and services a party of eight comfortably.

How it makes you feel when you get in: Options for how much you want in the Pathfinder vary across five separate trim options. We drove the more luxurious Platinum model, so our assessment will veer toward Pathfinder at its most decked out. For winter customers, remote start is a neat option to get things cozy before entering. While some passengers need the space of a bench for passenger number eight, cabin chairs take the cake for us. Pro-pilot assist is Nissan’s driving support system. Options include ventilated seats, hands-free rear liftgate, and a head-up display.

How it drives: The ride is quiet and stable with a single engine option. All-wheel drive is available as an option. It’s not a bustling, but smooth and easy. It’s gas-powered V6 engine has standard fare power and braking ability.

Space for people and things:  Generous storage, and has truck like appeal when seats fold down.

What to compare it to: Kia Telluride, Honda Pilot, Volkswagen Atlas, and Mazda CX-90.

How much does it cost: Trim packages vary from the base price $33,000 to the top-of-the heap Platinum for $50k.
