Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy AWD

How it looks when you see on the street: It’s a big, sparkly chrome grille reinforces the message: this not the average Hyundai when it comes as a Calligraphy, knocking on luxury doors. The 2025 model is outgoing and reviewed here. The 2026 has been redesigned.

How it makes you feel when you get in: A new big, bodacious SUV has arrived to compete for the full size fancy mantle — an unexpected base hit from Hyundai. It’s stocked with a 12.3-inch infotainment system. The sound system is a Harman Kardon and a wireless charging system.

How it drives: A little loose, a little wide, but plenty capable for easy cruising. The all-gas SUV earns on average 21 miles per gallon powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine

Space for people and things: All the space and SUV owner desires and seats, too. We drove six-full size adults who were impressed with the interior comfort and package. Lots of room for hauling all the family gear.

Best Features: The rear seat entertainment came with “Baby Shark” on demand. It has 7 usb ports, and impressive cameras to navigate all that space around the car.

What makes it stand out: It’s new and shiny for the fullsize category where there’s not as many options as the small SUV category.

What should you compare it to: Toyota Highlander, Chevy Tahoe,

How much does it cost: Our most recent test vehicle was priced at $52,600.
