Acura MDX

How it looks when you see it on the street: A brand new look for the Acura MDX, the mod mid-sized SUV produced by Honda’s luxe arm. The new MDX is solid all around with sharp, clean, and contemporary angles.

How it makes you feel when you get in: The features serve the first two rows of seating, which are spaciousness and straight forward. Space is good, functional and well appointed.

How it drives: The steering has a light touch and is paired with a new transmission for a responsive ride on Acura’s new platform that makes its debut.

Space for people and things: A bit more roomy and offers a third row of seating.

Best Features: The longer list of standard features is an all around improvement including the 12.3-inch screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and standard safety features including a driver drowsiness monitoring and forward collision warning. Our favorite is the ELS Audio systems, tuned by music producer Elliot Scheiner,

What should you compare it to: Lexus RX350, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and the BMW X5.

How much is it: The MDX starts at $47,200
